WHAT IS TUBERS SPECIAL PROVISIONS?
Tubers Academy is an inclusive and welcoming environment where young people of all backgrounds can learn professional video production and digital media skills.
Through our Special Provisions programme, students learn 1-2-1 or in small groups on a variety of video projects, helping improve their feeling of achievement and self worth, as well as their communication and social skills.
ABOUT THE TUBERS FIRST STEPS CURRICULUM
Our Special Provisions Curriculum has been crafted by social media & video production professionals to help young people who are outside of traditional education build confidence and invaluable career skills.
All young people enrolled onto our Special Provisions programme will learn camera skills, video editing, audio production, live Streaming and more through our first steps programme modules.
As they complete modules students are awarded a certificate to celebrate their achievement and take away finished videos to share with parents and friends.

Students learn about different microphone types, how sound is captured and how to record the best quality audio.
We teach students how to live stream using professional hardware and software – increasing confidence and technical ability.
We encourage and teach students to be safe and responsible online citizens – making them think about how they act online and the content they consume and upload.

HOW DOES THE SERVICE WORK?
We are able to take special provisions students during daytimes, Monday to Friday 9am-3pm.
Understanding that students learn in different ways; we are able to accommodate both 1-2-1 teaching as well as small groups- customising to the needs of the student.
Each student who joins us will be given a Tubers Members pass. They will need to bring an SD Memory Card (min. 32GB) to store their video footage, this can be purchased from us.
WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING ABOUT TUBERS
Check out the videos below to hear about parents experiences with Tubers Academy:
"What it's done for Ethan is lift his self esteem...He's learning things and socialising with other children, which in other environments seems to be quite difficult for him"
"We've tried football clubs with him, we've tried Taekwondo, we've tried parkour but he's been rejected from every single one of them...I brought him here, he loves this sort of stuff and he's fantastic! He's fitted in really, really well, he's happy and he's making friends."
"Jacob loves it! He's transformed in himself...I think it's really, really good and I think it's really helping with the children's self esteem."
