STAFF CHECKS AND TRAINING
We take safeguarding very seriously and make sure that all of our staff are trained, professional and prepared at all times.
With this in mind, all of our staff are Advanced DBS checked, qualified in AoFAQ Level 3 – Emergency First Aid At Work and have qualified in an ‘Introduction to Child Protection’.

Tubers acknowledges the common law ‘duty of care’ to act like any prudent parent. This extends to the administration of medicines and taking action in an emergency, according to the care plan.

The safe recruitment of staff in at Tubers is the first step to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Tubers Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all members in its care. As an employer, Tubers expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Accidents and Incidents Policy
The aim of this policy is to outline the procedures for incidents or accidents in all Tubers Academies. This policy supports our safeguarding and child protection policies, and also supports our health and safety measures for everyone, e.g. children/parents/visitors.
